Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Newbury AI LLC, the team behind RiZe, for using the RiZe app and tryrize.app. By using RiZe, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Using RiZe
You need to be 13 or older to use RiZe, and if you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be okay with it. Keep your login safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
Look after yourself
RiZe is here to keep you motivated. It isn’t medical, fitness, or nutrition advice. You choose your proofs, so do them safely. Never risk your health or anyone else’s to keep a streak. Anything you do is at your own risk.
Subscriptions
Some features need a subscription, which you buy through Apple. A free trial turns into a paid plan when it ends, and plans renew automatically, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You can manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Your content
What you post is yours. You let us store it and show it where needed to run RiZe. Private proofs are just for you. Community proofs can be seen and commented on by other users, and anyone can copy the goal for themselves. Only post things you have the right to share.
Community rules
We have zero tolerance for abuse. No sexual content, harassment, hate, threats, promoting self-harm or dangerous challenges, illegal stuff, spam, or pretending to be someone else. You can report or block anyone from the ••• menu. We review reports quickly, and we remove content and accounts that break these rules.
Ending things
You can delete your account anytime in the app. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
The legal bits
RiZe is provided as it is. We work hard on it, but we can’t promise it will always work perfectly or that your streaks or data will never be lost. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, or $50 if that’s more. These terms are governed by California law. If you got RiZe from the App Store, Apple’s standard app terms apply too, and Apple isn’t responsible for RiZe. We may update these terms, and we’ll let you know about big changes.
